Running a label can be a huge financial risk and often takes time to see returns on invested time and money. To minimize the risk and pay everyone involved fairly we kindly ask for your support.
Every cent donated to exude goes directly to trans* artists and workers involved in the process of putting out releases, producing release events and managing the label.

Why give?
Accessing funds via grants by governments or corporate brands is challenging for marginalized people. Trans people are often grouped under umbrella terms such as LGBTQIA+ or FLINTA when money is distributed to “diversity” projects. Yet we remain underrepresented and undervalued, especially in the organization and production of cultural projects. We have applied to several funds without success, but we are firm in our mission. Therefore we seek support in a peer-to-peer way instead of relying on capitalist cultural systems that deny us.
